This is MAC’s Up the Amp
It is an amplified finish.
The color is more of a dark lilac.
Since I have only had it for a day I don’t feel right giving a review, but I will say my first response, which is that I love it and can’t help but feel like a total bad ass. It is very pigmented as are all amplified. Wears well on the lips and feels nice as well.

The ELF Matte Lip Color’s are twist lip pencils. Which completely through me because I thought it was going to be more like a sponge dispenser, and I am glad I was surprised.
For a $3 product I am quite impressed. This product acts like at lip pencil and a lipstick, in that it has the sleek, precision of a pencil and the color pay off of a lipstick.
The product is also not drying for a matte color. Which can be a pro and con. Since it is not drying, cracks in the lips are less likely to show up, and you don’t have the constant feeling of wanting to put on lip conditioner. However because it is less drying, it also fades quicker. It will wear for a good 3 hours without eating or drinking, but after that the color fades.
There is .006 fl. oz. or 1.8g of product.
Verdict: I will definitely look into more colors to try out.
Post with 1 note
Select Targets have started caring E.L.F products and for the Holidays this includes their larger palettes

However the packaging lies because clearly this is the cool palette, but they also had the warm palette which was more of a neutral palette.

The palette comes with 32 colors. The last two rows are smokey colors and neutrals and the first bright vivid colors. It is being sold for 5 dollars both on line and in stores. On line the product is listed as limited edition.
The palette itself is about the size of a hand and sleek. Could easily be put in a purse and traveled with. It comes with a double ended applicator as well as a mirror in the top section.
The eye-shadows are soft and range from matte/satins to shimmers. The color pay off is up there for its price although they do need a primer to keep them from fading. They also blend fantastically and this could be due to their softer nature.
Over all this palette is definitely something to look into for you or the aspiring makeup lover, especially if you or they don’t have a lot of colors already at your disposal.
Also for the animal friendly buyer E.L.F does not test their products on animals!
